1.   What gazebo sizes are available?
Q:   In square shapes, the gazebo is available in two diameters, 10 and 12 foot.  Also available is a
rectangular gazebo 10 feet wide and 15 feet long.

2.   Will the gazebo need to be repainted or stained like a wooden gazebo?
Q:   No, because of the powder coating.  It may only require occasional touch up paint on some areas.

3.   Is the fabric canopy similar to a patio umbrella top?
Q:   Yes, the canopy top is made of poly fabric.  It is laminated, water resistant (Not Waterproof)
and fire retardant.

4.   Will the gazebo move in a strong wind?
Q:   To prevent the possibility of the gazebo frame from moving it should be securely bolted down to
your deck or patio.  If your gazebo is located on a grass lawn it may be secured with the stakes
provided in the hardware pack.  Also, in any type of inclement weather you must remove the
fabric canopy top from the frame.

5.   Does the gazebo purchase include the fabric canopy?
Q:   Yes, your gazebo purchase includes the fabric canopy, frame and all necessary hardware.

6.   Can I move the gazebo after it has been assembled?
Q:   Yes, whether moving the gazebo around the yard or across town, simply disassemble the gazebo
and re-assemble it at a new location.

7.   I live in a snowy area, should I take down the gazebo in the winter?
Q:   No, but to prevent damage from the weight of snow or any inclement weather, you must remove
the fabric canopy from the gazebo.

8.   Are bug screens or other types of screening options available?
Q:  

Yes, bug screens are available for all models.

9.   Is the canopy top or screen washable?
Q:   Yes, it can be washed with mild soap such as Woolite in a large capacity washing machine.
(Hang Dry). The screen we suggest you hand wash in mild soap. (Hang Dry)

10.   Will the canopy top fade?
Q:   All canopy tops are (NOT UV PROTECTED).

11.   What does my warranty NOT cover?
Q:   Storm damage and damage from exposure to the elements is not covered by our exclusive
warranty.  Please use caution to safeguard your furniture from harsh elements and inclement
weather.

12.   I received gazebo as a gift mailed in the warranty card and now I have a problem,
how to get replacement without receipt?
Q:   DC American can honor your warrant card as a receipt, as long as it was sent within the 30 day
period.  The customer can call customer Service at 1-800-238-5296. The customer has the
responsibility to pay for the shipping cost.

What if the item I purchased was missing or did not include the warranty card?

Q:   Customers who purchase did not include a warranty card should save their receipt of purchase,
statement or copy of check.  As long as it indicates date of purchase.

Q:   With proper care and maintenance, your product should give you years of enjoyment.

15.   What does my warranty cover?
Q:   Gazebo
One year warranty against manufacturer defects on the metal frame.
One month warranty against manufactures defects on the fabric canopy top.
Replacement will be made at no charge if the customer can provide us  with a receipt within one
month of purchase.

Bench
One year warranty on wood slats against manufactures defects.
One year warranty on Cast Iron legs against manufactures defect.
Lifetime warranty on Cast Aluminum Legs against rust.
Replacements will be made with a copy of the receipt and the customer pays for the shipping
charges.

Garden Accessories
One year warranty against manufactures defects.
Replacements will be made with a copy of the receipt and customer pays or the shipping charges

16.   How to I file a warranty claim?
Q:   Should you have a warranty claim, please contact us. There are several ways you can contact
us:

When filing a claim, please be sure to include the following:
1. Your full name
2. Complete mailing address
3. Daytime telephone number including area code (Please include)
4. When you purchased your item(s)
5. Where you purchased your item(s)
6. The name/model/description of your set
7. The specific problem you are having
8. A copy of your receipt/or any proof of purchase

Occasionally, pictures of a damaged item may be necessary to provide better service.

17.   While assembling my furniture, I noticed I have a piece missing. What do I do?
Q:   Our retailers do not stock extra pieces or hardware. If you are missing any pieces, do
not assemble your set. Check your part list (Included in your Instruction Manual)

If you DO NOT have a part list simply call Customer Service at 1-800-238-5296.

Request a replacement part order form indicating the size of your gazebo. Representative will
either fax or mail the form at your request.

18.   Will my furniture rust?
Q:   Aluminum framed furniture should not rust.  Although treated against rust, all steel furniture
has the potential for rust if the paint is scratched and bare metal is exposed to air and water. 
Should your furniture develop a scratch in the paint, immediately treat the area by lightly
sanding the affected area with extra fine sand paper or steel wool.  Treat the area with a rust
inhibitor and touch up paint

19.   Instruction sheets are confusing (for bench) One side will say the bench is made out of
Teak, while the other will it is made of Oak.  Which one is it?
Q:   Many of our Instructions are made for more than one model bench so  ask for Model # to determine
which kind of wood the customer has.

20.   Will the gazebo rust?
Q:   The frame is made of steel and is powder coated therefore it should not rust.  However, the nature
of the material may rust over time on certain areas.  In which case you would use touch up paint
on the rusted area.
